3. SMS / Text Message Terms & Conditions

  • Interview scheduling and orientation appointments
  • Onboarding paperwork follow-ups and missing-item requests
  • Pre-employment screening status updates
  • Load assignment notifications and dispatch updates (post-hire)
  • Detention and delivery status confirmations (post-hire)
  • Equipment, fuel card, and payroll-related inquiries (post-hire)

Example message: “Hi John, this is Square Transportation Solution Inc. We received your driver application and need a copy of your current medical card to continue the hiring process. Reply with a photo or visit apply.gosquare.net to upload. Reply STOP to opt out of SMS messaging at any time.”

Message Frequency: Message frequency may vary. You may receive up to 5 SMS messages per week during the active application and onboarding stages, and occasional messages thereafter related to dispatch, scheduling, or account matters.

Potential Fees: Standard message and data rates may apply, depending on your wireless carrier’s pricing plan. Square Transportation Solution INC does not charge any fee to send or receive our SMS messages, but your wireless carrier may apply charges per your plan.

Opt-In Method: You may opt in to receive SMS messages by:

  • Online form: Submitting a driver application at apply.gosquare.net and checking the SMS consent checkbox
  • Verbally: Providing verbal consent during a phone call or in-person conversation with a company representative
  • Paper form: Filling out a paper driver application form and checking the SMS consent box

Opt-Out Method: You can opt out of receiving SMS messages at any time:

All third parties are required to maintain the confidentiality of your information.

  • Applicants (not hired): Application data is retained for up to 3 years to comply with FMCSA record-keeping requirements
  • Employees/contractors: Employment records and DQF files are retained as required by 49 CFR §382.401
  • SMS records: Consent and opt-out records are retained for the duration of the business relationship plus 5 years
